James 2:12-13 “Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom, because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment!”
What will husbands who have not been merciful to their wives get? What triumphs over judgment?
Luke 17:1 “Jesus said to his disciples: Things that cause people to sin are bound to come, but woe to that person through whom they come.”
Who would be causing a man who spanks his wife to sin? Could it be those who say that CDD is not wrong?
Luke 17:2 “It would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around his neck than for him to cause one of these little ones to sin.”
If CDD is wrong, and a person encourages others to participate in CDD what would be a better thing for him to do?
Luke 17:3 “So watch yourselves.”
Who should watch themselves?
